Elevating a premium bathroom brand through strategic catalogue design

Tissino is a leading manufacturer of beautifully designed, high-quality bathroom products, recognised for combining exceptional aesthetics with durability, innovation and ease of installation.

In 2019, HTDL was appointed to redesign and produce Tissino's flagship product catalogue for its 2020 launch. The objective was clear: transform an existing brochure into a premium brand publication that better reflected Tissino's market position and supported both consumer and trade audiences.

Since then, our partnership has continued year after year, with HTDL responsible for the design, development and production of every subsequent Tissino catalogue, including the prestigious Esclusiva collection.

The challenge

The existing catalogue no longer reflected the quality and sophistication of the Tissino brand. While comprehensive, it lacked the visual impact, inspiration and premium feel required to position Tissino alongside the leading names in luxury bathroom design.

The project also presented a unique challenge. The catalogue needed to perform effectively across two distinct audiences:

Consumers researching products through retail showrooms

Trade professionals including architects, interior designers, developers, contractors and housebuilders

The new publication needed to balance inspirational lifestyle content with detailed technical information, creating a resource that was both aspirational and practical.

Our approach

We began with a comprehensive review of the existing catalogue structure, user journey and content hierarchy.

Our design team developed a refined creative direction that aligned with Tissino's premium positioning, focusing on:

  • Greater emphasis on lifestyle imagery and product inspiration

The result was a cleaner, more sophisticated design system that showcased the quality of Tissino's products while making information easier to access for both retail and specification audiences.

The outcome

The redesigned catalogue successfully repositioned Tissino's printed communications, creating a publication that better reflected the quality, craftsmanship and design excellence of the brand.

Over the past five years, HTDL has continued to evolve and refine the catalogue, supporting Tissino's growth through the production of multiple editions and specialist product ranges.

The catalogue has become a key sales and marketing tool across both retail and contract markets, helping reinforce Tissino's reputation as a premium bathroom brand.

The previous brochure did not portray Tissino as a luxury brand, nor did it inspire. HTDL resolved both of these issues and have produced a catalogue we are extremely proud of.
