HTDL has worked with Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) to design, produce and publish theatre programmes for venues across the UK. Working alongside a print management partner, we helped deliver engaging, high-quality programmes for some of the country's most recognised West End and regional theatre productions.
Our team produced approximately 2,500 unique theatre programmes annually, representing around 750,000 printed copies each year. From internationally acclaimed musicals to major touring productions and drama performances, every programme is carefully created to enhance the audience experience and reflect the quality of the production on stage.
Working closely with theatre management teams, producers and marketing departments, we designed visually engaging programmes that captured the identity of each show. Our services included creative design, artwork production, editorial content creation, image management, proofing and final publication.
Each programme is tailored to the individual production, ensuring audiences receive a memorable keepsake that complements their theatre experience.
With programmes being produced for more than 25 venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, managing deadlines, approvals and production schedules is critical. Our collaborative workflow allows multiple stakeholders to review and approve content efficiently, ensuring every programme is delivered accurately and on time.
Over the course of our partnership, we created programmes for many of the theatre industry's most successful productions, including major West End and touring shows such as The Lion King, Moulin Rouge! and Pretty Woman. These projects demand exceptional attention to detail, premium production values and the ability to work within fast-moving production schedules.
By combining creative expertise with efficient publishing processes, we helped ATG maintain a consistently high standard across its extensive venue portfolio. The result is a collection of theatre programmes that not only inform and entertain audiences but also reinforce the quality and prestige of one of the world's leading live entertainment organisations.
