Acquired by 3M in 2015 for $2.5 billion, Capital Safety is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of fall protection, confined space, and rescue equipment for oil and gas, construction, utilities, wind energy, transportation, telecommunication, mining, and general industries.
With a number of disparate websites under the Capital Safety brand, we were tasked to create a multi-lingual site that allowed the client to manage all sub-sites for each country in one CMS. Microsoft Sharepoint used previously had found limitations in the web front end that were too complex for internal updates.
Using our Business Catalyst platform allowed all sites to be managed with one CMS. We built around 63 Web Apps so that each country would have their own areas to update within the CMS.
In addition, we also integrated Accessplanit using live feeds to avoid duplicate entry across systems.
